Dearest readers,
As promised sometime back when the sun was shining, this newsletter will continue morphing into a more business focused space in the near future.
You can expect:
Useful (hopefully not self indulgent!) reflections from founding Bloody Good Period that I hope will be helpful for anyone trying to make something happen
Actionable and compassionate communications advice for anyone but especially founders and though leaders
First look at workshops and events AND discounts (if you’re well behaved) for new workshops such as “how to write”, '“how to create” and “how to make your idea happen.”
What you won’t see anymore:
Entirely personal essays (I promise to share a little, still)
Political or activist content
Period content (not that you ever did see that here but you might expect it if you just signed up)
And, importantly, we will be moving platforms. Why? Primarily because Substack is geared towards turning on paid posts, and that’s not part of my business model right now. I want it to be free for anyone - whether you work with me or not. It’s also a little social media-y for me - anyone can see your posts (and I’d rather a bit more exclusivity, ta) plus the platform is just a little noisy.
So, if you’re staying on board, do nothing - just sit back and eat that trick or treat chocolate - I’ll pack the boxes and book the movers.
If you’re off, just hit the unsubscribe button (don’t worry, I’m not checking who’s skedaddled) and I’ll wish you well.
See you soon!
All the best and kind regards,
Gabby
